Some universal advice for pessimists:

  1. You will probably be okay.
  2. Just relax a little. Remember to breathe.
  3. Whatever is worrying you is not as big as you think it is.
  4. You have a habit of seeing bad outcomes. Recognize this.
  5. Practice self-care: get some fresh air, go for a walk, make food with your own two hands.
  6. Do things that are worthwhile, like playing the violin.
  7. Cultivate friendships and a strong community.
